Metanoia is culturally alive and well! The culture calendar offers something for everyone:
February kicks off with the Molasseser competition. The First Year’s Oratory Competition, organized by the US Debating Society, is held as well.
March is home to the US Woordfees, and with it comes Metanoia’s Culture Week: a week filled with everything from Battle of the Bands, 30 Seconds tournaments, Mensverf-opportunities, hackey sack competitions, an inter-campus culture evening and a whole lot more!
April brings about the National Debating Competition.
May hosts big drama, as the Toneelfees hits the stage.
The end of July sees the start of Matie-week ? again a big inter-campus culture evening is held.
August means SU Acapella time. And in Metanoia, this means fierce competition.
September and October is used to catch up on the all important academics. But for those who still hunger for more culture, check out the art student’s final exhibitions and the drama student’s final practical examinations as part of the Ertjiefees. It’s free!
