Metanoia is home to a range of student-led committees that give all residents — not just those in formal leadership positions — the opportunity to play an active role in shaping Welcoming for our community. These committees provide a platform for creativity, collaboration, and passion.
Below is a brief overview of the Welcoming Body Committees:
MADComm
The MADComm is the creative engine behind our Vensters production during Welcoming. Working closely with the HC of Vensters, this committee brings the entire Metanoia Vensters performance to life — from choreography and acting to costumes and props.
This committee is perfect for anyone with a flair for the creative — whether you love being on stage or working behind the scenes. With such a wide range of responsibilities, there’s space for all kinds of talents and personalities!
Metanoia has proudly won Vensters for the past two years, and we’re now setting our sights on a third victory.

MetaMedia
The MetaMedia committee is all about capturing and sharing the spirit of Metanoia. From major events to everyday moments, MetaMedia works hard to ensure that the vibrant life of our residence is seen and remembered.
Whether you’re a photographer, videographer, editor, graphic designer, or simply just love running your Instagram or TikTok account — there’s a place for you here!
The MetaMedia committee consists of the following roles:
- Photographers & Videographers
- Editors
- Graphic Designers (for posters, announcements, etc.)
- Social Media Correspondents
You’ll find us at events throughout the year, working behind the scenes (and sometimes in front of the lens) to showcase what makes Metanoia so special.

MetaTech
MetaTech is the tech support engine of Metanoia. This committee handles all things related to sound and audiovisual setup throughout the year — ensuring events run smoothly and are technically sound.
If you’re tech-savvy or just keen to learn more about sound, lighting, or AV equipment, MetaTech is a great way to get involved!
We provide sound and AV for :
- House Meetings
- Karaoke & Quiz Nights
- Society and Committee Events
- Any other AV needs in the residence
